Sales Representative (Medical and Wellness Industry)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Biotech, Biomedical, Pharmacy, Marketing or Science related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably within the wellness healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical or genomics industry.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and building relationships.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of medical products, treatments, and equipment.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and sales opportunities at once.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the designated region for meetings, product demos, and client visits.
Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territory or market segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals (doctors, wellness centre, pharmacists, etc.).
- Promote and sell medical products to healthcare providers, ensuring they understand product features and benefits.
- Participate in campaign events, exhibitions, and brand activities, representing the company professionally.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives.
Product Knowledge & Demonstrations
- Maintain deep knowledge of the products being sold, including features, benefits, and potential side effects (for pharmaceuticals).
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for healthcare providers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Provide technical support and training for medical staff on how to use products properly.
Market Research & Reporting
- Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify market opportunities.
- Report on sales activities, customer feedback, and product performance to management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
Customer Service & Support
- Provide ongoing support to healthcare providers, addressing product inquiries, providing product samples, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships with clients.
Compliance & Ethics
- Adhere to all company policies, medical regulations, and legal standards.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with medical industry ethics and regulations.
Collaboration with Team
- Work with marketing and social media teams to align on sales goals and strategies.
- Attend sales meetings, conferences, and training sessions as required.
