They are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Director to oversee distributor management and be accountable for driving sustainable growth, profitability, and brand equity. You'll manage a commercial team of 2-3 people, ensuring strong execution of sales and marketing strategies across channels.
Job Description
- Define and lead the sales and marketing strategy to deliver on company growth objectives and market expansion.
- Manage and strengthen distributor partnerships, ensuring alignment on sales targets, trade marketing execution, and in-market performance.
- Lead annual business planning, including sales forecasting, promotional planning, and budget management.
- Oversee marketing activities to drive brand visibility, shopper engagement, and category leadership.
- Provide strategic guidance and hands-on leadership to a commercial team of 2-3, building capabilities and driving performance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, assess competitor activities, and adapt strategies for competitive advantage.
- Drive pricing, promotions, and channel strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration.
- Represent the commercial function in management discussions and cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure delivery of KPIs on sales, margins, and distribution expansion.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- More than 10+ years of progressive experience in FMCG sales & marketing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in distributor management
- Strong P&L management experience with a track record of delivering sustainable business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and execution capabilities.
