Sensors & Probes – Sales Manager China, South-East Asia, and Pacific
Position Objective

Drive the growth of S&P business across China, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific, targeting expansion up to £10M GBP within five years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development and new project opportunities across Asia Pacific, including China.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing relationships and delivering solutions.
  • Support regional expansion initiatives, with potential to build and lead a team over time.
  • Travel as required (up to 40%) across the region to support client engagement and project execution.
  • Experience in a similar industry or with competitors in the metal, steel, or refractory sectors is highly preferable.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Head in London to align strategies and support decision‑making.
Requirements
  • University degree, preferably in metallurgical engineering.
  • 10+ years in the steel‑making industry; 5+ years in sales or business development.
  • Fluent in English; Chinese fluency strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of sensor and probe technology is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and multi‑channel sales management skills.
