Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Manager who can filter clients, lead sales strategy, and coach designers.
You will act as the Sales Gatekeeper & Sales Leader, ensuring only qualified, budget-fit clients enter our sales funnel, while driving higher conversion, healthier margins, and stronger sales professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification & Client Filtering:
- Screen and qualify all inbound leads (social media, walk-ins, referrals)
- Assess client seriousness, budget, timeline, and decision readiness
- Approve or reject leads before assigning to designers
- Eliminate time-wasting and low-quality enquiries
- Sales Strategy & Deal Support:
- Define sales approach for each case (sales-led vs design-led)
- Guide designers on pricing logic, value positioning, and objection handling
- Step in for high-value or complex deals when needed
- Protect company margin and brand positioning
- Sales Team Leadership:
- Coach Sales Interior Designers and IDEP Designers
- Train team on budget conversations, closing skills, and sales structure
- Review lost deals and improve closing strategies
- Raise professionalism and accountability across the sales team
- Conversion & Performance Control:
- Track conversion rates from lead → appointment → closing
- Identify weak points in the sales funnel and improve them
- Work closely with Marketing and QS teams to align lead quality and pricing
- Sales Governance:
- Ensure clean CRM usage and proper follow-up discipline
- Enforce Interior+ sales standards (no under-pricing, no free-design abuse)
- Maintain accurate sales reporting and performance tracking
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Background in interior design, renovation, property, or high-value services is an advantage
- Strong people-reading and qualification skills
- Confident in discussing budgets and handling objectionsStructured, disciplined, and results-driven
- Able to coach and lead, not just close deals
