A dynamic construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue in aluminum formwork market. The role involves developing project leads, engaging with clients, and coordinating with HQ. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of B2B sales experience in construction materials and proficiency in Mandarin. This position offers attractive compensation and high flexibility with a remote work option.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue, closing deals, and building strong relationships with developers, main contractors, and subcontractors. This is a pure sales role with no team management, offering you the flexibility to work remotely and visit clients on-site.
Sales Acquisition & Deal Closing – Develop and convert project leads for high-rise residential, commercial, and basement works. Identify opportunities from developers, main contractors, and project consultants. Prepare sales proposals, technical submissions, and commercial quotations. Drive full-cycle sales from lead generation to contract and payment follow-up.
Market Coverage & Customer Engagement – Cover the entire Malaysian market and maintain regular visits to job sites and client offices. Build strong relationships with procurement, project directors, QS teams, and engineering heads. Track competitor offerings and maintain accurate market intelligence.
Internal Coordination – Work closely with China HQ for formwork design, engineering support, delivery, and pricing. Ensure transparent reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and win/loss analysis.
Proven B2B sales experience – Must have minimum 3 years proven B2B sales experience in construction materials, formwork, scaffolding, steel, concrete, or related industries with demonstrated ability to win deals independently.
Industry experience – Prior experience with aluminum formwork sales or existing customer network in Malaysia's construction sector (developers, main contractors, SOE projects) is a plus.
Language – Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English languages for communication with developers, contractors, and China HQ.
Strong commercial acumen – Ability to read construction drawings is preferred (training provided). Experience with aluminum formwork sales is a major advantage.
Able to travel nationwide – Must be self-driven and result-oriented.
