Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company based in Petaling Jaya seeks a Sales Manager to oversee sales and operations across multiple locations. This role requires developing strategic sales plans, leading a team of sales representatives, and cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree, strong sales and negotiation skills, and 3-5 years of industry experience. Sales Manager

Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing sales and operations for multiple locations or a designated territory, leading sales teams to meet revenue targets, cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include developing strategic sales plans, managing budgets, monitoring sales performance, conducting market analysis, and collaborating with marketing to drive brand visibility and product growth.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and provide regular reports to senior management, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities and operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and other internal departments to align sales strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage budgets for the assigned territory, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Brand Visibility: Implement strategies to increase brand visibility and ensure effective merchandising in the marketplace.

3-5 years of experience required, depending on past sales experience and industry.
