Job summary

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the furniture, interior design, or woodcraft industry.
  • Experience in selling wood furniture or custom-made furniture is highly preferred.
  • Strong product knowledge in furniture materials, joinery details, and finishing types will be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide others.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and project partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
  • Good business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
Responsibility
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies specifically for wood furniture, custom-made cabinetry, and interior fit‑out projects.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and business development plans to expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, designers, and project partners.
  • Understand product specifications, materials (e.g. solid wood, veneer, plywood, laminated board), and finishing options to present the best solutions to clients.
  • Monitor market trends in furniture design, materials, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for management review.
  • Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure customer requirements and project timelines are met.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance evaluations to enhance team capability and morale.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, networking events, and client presentations.
