A premier hotel chain in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a sales professional to drive hotel sales and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, with relevant experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality sector. Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are essential for maintaining customer relationships and achieving sales targets. This role focuses on building connections with clients and enhancing business occupancy through strategic sales initiatives.
To maximize hotel sales, revenue & profit growth by selling the hotels products and services.
Update action plans and financial objectives according to time frame given.
To increase business/occupancy through establishing and maintaining good relationships with a number of clients to meet sales targets.
Builds and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings, conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by government / corporate client.
To be able to achieve the room sales target on existing accounts and to develop new business.
Maintains an up-to-date good working relationship with all other departments.
Follow up with clients before and after big functions or groups to ensure repeated businesses.
Responds within 24 hours to all inquiries, leads and correspondence from prospects, customers and referral.
