A leading global vehicle manufacturer seeks a Sales Executive to drive business opportunities in Malaysia. The role involves acquiring new customers, consulting on solutions using the company's product portfolio, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Candidates should possess a diploma in relevant fields and have at least 3 years of experience in vehicle sales. Knowledge of sales IT systems is preferred, along with fluency in English and Malay. The position requires effective communication and a full driving license.
Actively translate market trends into business opportunities for own sales area
Analyse sales area data to derive business opportunities jointly with sales management and put into action (i.e. define customer attack list).
Ensuring that 100% potential customers are contacted regularly at least once a year.
Identify customer needs and create solutions/offers to meet customer expectations applying MAN sales tools and methods.
Take new innovations and offers from MAN to develop customer portfolio.
Consult the customer and offer options on possible solutions based on MAN’s product and business solutions’ portfolio.
Deliver fast and accurate information, including prompt responses to customer enquiries.
Know the customer. Acquire and record relevant information and maintain an effective database both for retail and fleet customers.
Track, maintain and update own and company generated leads, contacts and opportunities.
Regularly identify customer needs and offer integrated and customized solutions along the value chain.
Be visible to the customer, plan and organize sales activities including regular customer visits to build sustainable rapport.
Be a MAN brand ambassador every day.
Build technical expertise on MAN product portfolio.
Build expertise on MAN sales and after sales solutions including other MAN services.
Steer sales business in terms of profitability by using MAN option package portfolio.
Regular reporting on sales activities to the sales management.
Develop proposal, negotiate, prepare and present sales contract to the customer to find the best integrated solution for the customer closely cooperate with After Sales and other relevant MAN departments.
Create the offer, sales order within the system.
Monitor all orders and follow up production, delivery times with factory/body builders to solve questions/problems that may arise and report any delays to the customer as early as possible.
Ensure that all relevant technical, product, legal and promotional information is obtained, understood and communicated to customer.
Hand over the sold vehicles (walk around) if required assisted by technical experts from the workshop and be the ‘one face’ to the customer’ (lead the customer).
Act as a contact person to the customer in case of immediate concerns and complaints.
Diligently follow up on due invoices & payments from customers and actively provide updates to finance department on accounts receivable status.
Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or its equivalent in the Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or related field.
3 years of experience in selling vehicle or capital equipment, preferably in automative/commercial vehicles industry.
Candidate who is able to join in January 2026 will be an added advantage.
Willing to be based in Seksyen 28, Shah Alam, Selangor.
Application of sales IT systems (i.e Salesforce SAP).
Fluent in English and Malay and other added languages will be an advantage.
Full driving license.
Willing to develop Johor, Sabah & Sarawak.
