Job description
Sales Executive - ShopeeFood (Northern Region)
  • Acquire and activate F&B merchants across your assigned areas (phone, online or face‑to‑face) to meet outlet sign‑up targets.
  • Prioritize high‑potential outlets and explore underserved sub‑areas for expansion.
  • Maintain and regularly update the sales funnel (pipeline hygiene, status updates, conversion notes) to ensure accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all merchant paperwork, onboarding forms and reports.
  • Record and report on on‑ground insights and merchant/competitor feedback (field observations, merchant needs, win/loss reasons), escalating actionable items to the team.
  • Identify competitor activity and recommend quick‑win actions to protect and grow our presence.
  • Support account management and cross‑functional teams with handovers and merchants follow‑through.
What we’re looking for — must‑have:
  • Based in Northern Region (Penang, Perak - Ipoh, Perlis, Kedah).
  • SPM / Diploma (any field). Business, Commerce or Marketing is a plus.
  • Fresh grads or up to 1–2 years’ experience (sales, FMCG or telco preferred but not required).
  • Interest in e‑commerce and digital payments.
  • Good presentation and basic business acumen.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Able to communicate in multiple languages.
  • Flexible to work on‑ground during peak periods or as business needs require.
  • Most importantly: the right attitude — eager to learn, coachable, resilient and target‑driven.
