Job summary

A chemical manufacturing company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a motivated sales professional to drive sales activities and support management in executing business strategies. Qualifications
  • Experience selling non-food chemicals for PVC, coating, plastic, latex, adhesive, sandwich panel, semiconductor, and rubber industry.
  • Experience selling food chemicals to flavor houses, sauces, meat processing, premix for bakery, snacks, beverage, biscuits, cake, candy, ice cream, chocolate, confectionery, pharmaceutical and personal care ingredients industries.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales activities and ensure that set objectives and targets within the approved budget are met.
  • Support senior management in formulating and executing business strategies and plans to ensure profitability of the company by protecting and expanding market penetration and coverage.
  • Continuously keep up to date with market developments that can affect the business.
  • Evaluate market conditions and recommend appropriate next steps to maximize business growth positively.
  • Expand customer portfolio base which includes both local and international accounts, requiring travel.
  • Prepare and present management and performance reports.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department and the Management as and when required.
