Job summary

A prominent furniture company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to proactively identify clients and promote their products. This role involves achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, negotiating contracts, and managing the complete sales process. Candidates should have at least a Diploma, 1-2 years of furniture sales experience, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. The position requires a proactive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.

Job description

1. Proactively identify and approach potential clients in relevant industries to promote the company’s products.

2. Achieve sales targets or objectives as set by the management.

3. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

4. Provide excellent customer service to existing clients, ensuring a smooth experience and building long-term relationships.

5. Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales process to secure bookings and maximize revenue.

6. Handle order processing and follow up until delivery/shipping is completed.

7. Coordinate with planning and production teams to track project progress.

8. Participate in exhibitions and promotional events organized or attended by the company.

9. Build strong relationships with existing dealers, potential clients, and through client visits.

10. Understand our ideal customer profiles and how they align with our products and services.

11. Stay updated on market trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor or any certificate in any field or equivalent.
  • At least 1 to 2 years related working experiences in furniture.
  • 5 working days per week.
  • Willing to work at Serdang, Seri Kembangan.
  • Willing to travel and must possess own transport.
  • Good in attitude, aggressive in learning new things.
  • Experience in sales / passionate in sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with client.
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering customized solutions.
