Job description

Requirements

• Possesses a Diploma/Higher Diploma in Business Studies, Marketing, Administration, Mass Communication, or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of working experience in sales and marketing preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to join as training is provided.
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Good personal characteristics with honesty and integrity.
• Great interpersonal & communication skills, proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin as an advantage but not a requirement.
• Candidate must possess own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Advise and educate music users on the need and importance to obtain a license for the use of copyrighted music.
• Actively seek out new licensing opportunities through market survey, calling, networking and social media.
• Walk through applicants on the licensing requirements and application process; inspect and investigate commercial premises/events for unlicensed use of copyrighted music.
• Advise, negotiate, and conclude deals with music users based on the Company’s licensing tariffs or best possible commercial term.
• Manage administrative tasks including assessing applications, invoicing, collating information, and monitoring payment to facilitate compliance of business operators and event organizers.
• Suggest, propose and liaise with in‑house lawyers regarding enforcement matters involving the Company.
