Job summary

A leading fresh produce company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to expand market presence by managing relationships with wholesalers, supermarkets, and retailers. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in fresh produce or FMCG, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Candidates must possess transport, a driving license, and be fluent in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and English. Frequent travel across Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

  • Able to read and communicate fluently in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and English.
  • Possess own transport and valid driving license.

Job Summary

The Sales Executive will play a key role in expanding our marketpresence by managing and developing relationships with wholesalers, supermarkets,retailers and distributor. This role requires strong communication, negotiation andcustomer management skills, with a deep understanding of the fresh produce oragriculture supply industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the fresh producehypermarket / supermarket / retail chain / wholesalers / FMCG / food productionsectors.
  • Manage and maintain relationship with existing clients (supermarkets, retailers,distributor, hotels, restaurant, etc)
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and supply agreements.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing and competitors activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely and qualitydelivery of products.
  • Represent the company in exhibitors, trade events and client meetings.
  • Provide regular sales reports and feedback to management.
  • Requires frequent travel across Malaysia to meet clients, visit markets and explore new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferably in fresh produce, agriculture orFMCG industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Willing to travel frequently around Malaysia (and occasionally to Singapore)
  • Able to read and communicate fluently in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu and English.
  • Possess own transport and valid driving license.
