Job summary

A company in the chemicals and automation sector is seeking a candidate for a sales role focused on glove manufacturing. The successful applicant will promote and sell products, conduct market surveys, and prepare client quotations. A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field is required, along with strong communication skills in Mandarin. Willingness to travel is essential. Job description

To push current chemicals/ automation product portfolio into glove manufacturing sector & beef up Sales team

Duties:
General
  • To promote and sell current chemicals / automation in the company’s product portfolio
  • Travelling to visit current & potential customers
  • Making technical presentations and demonstration
  • To conduct market surveys when required, in order to understand customers requirements
  • To prepare quotations for clients
  • To achieve sales & volume targets as set out by Management
  • Able to collect market intelligence on competitor’s market activities
  • Identify, analyse and resolve technical issues reported by customer
  • Discuss, communicate and align with manufacturers from different countries on issues that happened
  • Being an intermediary between our customers and product manufacturers
  • Educate user on product features and best practices to help them better in the application.
  • Educate user on product features and best practices to help them in using the software or hardware more effectively and prevent future issues.
Working conditions:

Based in Setia Alam Office.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 9.00 a.m. to – 5.00 p.m. (flexibility to clock in/out within 30 minutes)

Lunch time: 1 hour break between 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Employment Requirements:

Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic and Automation Engineering or a related technical field. (for Automation Sales Executive)

Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Polymer or a related technical field. (for Chemical Sales Executive)

Added advantage if related with working experience.

Good command in Mandarin is essential as have to deal with customers and our China based manufacturers.

Willing to travel regularly to interstate and overseas.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Possess own transport.
