Role Overview
- Conduct on-ground visits to durian farms, organic vegetable farms, orchid farms, and nurseries across Malaysia
- Identify and prospect new farm clients through networking, referrals, and territory mapping
- Build strong relationships with farm owners, plantation managers, and agricultural decision-makers
- Demonstrate product benefits and ROI through field trials and crop performance evidence
- Convert prospects into regular customers with consistent monthly/seasonal orders
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for Bio-Mate fertiliser products
- Educate farmers on Bio-Mate’s unique enzyme-digested, meat-based formulation and its benefits
- Process orders accurately and coordinate with logistics for timely delivery to farm locations
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and exhibition participation
- Convert leads from exhibitions, referrals, and marketing campaigns into qualified opportunities
- Conduct site visits and assessments to understand client waste management needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hotels, F&B chains, property developers, commercial buildings, and institutions
- Understand client sustainability goals and position Bio-Mate as a solution for ESG reporting and carbon reduction
- Provide ongoing support and consultation throughout the sales cycle
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sales, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of B2B sales experience (agriculture, farming supplies, or fertilizer sales experience is highly desirable) OR B2B sales experience (experience in environmental/sustainability solutions, waste management, equipment sales, or facility management is a strong advantage).
- Proven track record of field sales and meeting revenue targets
- Understanding of Malaysian farming practices and agricultural cycles is a strong advantage
- Proficient in Chinese (essential for communicating with local farmers); English & Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license and own transport (mileage/travel allowance provided)
- Willingness to travel across Malaysia, including Pahang, Johor, Perak, and other agricultural areas
