The SalesExecutiveposition is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers within INSUT (Malaysia) SDN BHD. This role will manage sales to different tier customers depending on the market and brand context. It requires a combination of internal and external sales activities, meeting customers face-to-face and attending events, and achieving revenue and new business targets.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with existing and potential customers in Consumer Electronics, Medical, and Automotive sectors.
- Customer Feedback: Ensure swift follow-up on all client communications to keep projects moving forward.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage resources to meet annual sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as Engineering, Customer Service, and Planning to ensure a smooth chain of processes.
- Project Commercialization: Lead commercial matters from RFQ to first Production Batch Orders, ensuring projects turn into successful commercial ventures.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare and develop accurate reports, forecasts, and tender success indicators, enhancing decision-making at the department level.
Qualifications / Skills
- Degree holder in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field; or equivalent with proven sales track record.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Management; experience in Plastic Injection Moulding and the Electric and Electronic industry is an advantage. Fresh graduates are also highly welcome.
- Strong time‑management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Mandarin language skills an advantage for communicating with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
- Confident, aggressive, pleasant and able to work under pressure.
- Self‑motivated, sales‑driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passionate about sales and dedicated to achieving personal sales targets.
- Experience in preparing Salesforce.
- Fluent in English – speaking and writing an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Required to travel.
