The Person
- Academic Qualification - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Chemical, Food Technology or related field.
- Work Experience - 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in lubricants or food & beverages products.
- Knowledge - Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly. Understanding market dynamics, customer segment, and emerging opportunities.
- Skills - Able to work collaboratively with other departments, good negotiation, presentation skills and communication skills, proficiency in internal sales operations systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
The Job
- To manage and seek key customer accounts and to achieve sales target and collection.
- Drive revenue and profitability growth in the assigned region or market.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations based on customer needs.
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and training sessions based on client needs.
- To provide quality services to customers. Regularly seeks out and acts upon customer feedback.
- To be responsible for the business and price negotiation with prior approval of the Sales Manager.
- Execute any tasks or assignments delegated by the immediate superior, as required from time to time, to support departmental goals and business operations.
- Actively participate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) programs, 5S initiatives, and other company-related events or activities to support a safe, organized, and engaging workplace environment.
