A leading calibration services provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Sales Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will conduct cold calls, assist in scheduling product demos, process orders, and prepare documentation related to calibration services. Please apply if you possess a diploma or degree in relevant fields, have strong communication skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in technical sales or calibration services will be an advantage.
1. Cold Calling & Sales Appointment Coordination
Conduct cold calls to potential customers to introduce weighing equipment and calibration services.
Assist sales personnel by scheduling product demos, meetings, and on-site sales appointments.
Maintain a structured calling list and track follow-ups in the customer database.
Generate leads through research, outreach, and customer follow-ups.
Handle inquiries on products, specifications, and ISO 17025 calibration services.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing for weighing equipment and calibration jobs.
Follow up on outstanding quotations to support sales closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
3. Order Processing & Calibration Job Coordination
Process sales orders, service orders, and calibration job sheets.
Work closely with the calibration laboratory team to schedule and track ISO 17025 calibration work.
Update customers on job status, completion dates, and equipment readiness.
Coordinate on-site calibration arrangements with technicians or logistics teams.
4. Documentation & Administrative Tasks
Prepare delivery orders, invoices, calibration certificates, and related documents.
Ensure documentation compliance with ISO 17025 requirements and company SOPs.
Maintain organized filing and updating of customer records, job sheets, certificates, and sales documents.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Science/Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
Experience in technical sales support, calibration services, or weighing equipment is an added advantage.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Added Advantages
Experience in ISO 17025 environment or calibration-related industries.
Knowledge of weighing instruments, scales, load cells, and measurement equipment.
Ability to speak multiple languages (English, BM, Mandarin) is an added advantage.
