To provide comprehensive support to the sales team in achieving sales targets by efficiently coordinating and processing sales quotations, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Customer Queries: Prepare quotations, attending to customers’ queries, and ensure timely follow-ups with customers; Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services; Monitor vessel space and update the sales team regarding space availability.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and current information; Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints; Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Coordination & Communication: Act as the liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment; Schedule and coordinate sales meetings, appointments, and presentations as needed; Provide timely updates to the sales team regarding customer feedback and requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized and accurate records of all sales activities and transactions; Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review; Track sales performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Administrative & Marketing Support: Assist in preparing marketing materials, presentations, and promotional campaigns; Support the sales team with administrative tasks as needed; Provide insights and feedback from customers to enhance marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales coordination or sales support role, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage.
