Company Description

IOI Palm Wood Sdn Bhd (IOI Palm Wood) is a subsidiary of IOI Corporation Berhad, a leading global integrated and sustainable palm oil player that is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Established in 2020, we are Malaysia’s first manufacturing plant to commercially and sustainably convert unused oil palm trunks into eco-friendly, sustainable and high-performance palm wood panels for the furniture and building industries.

Role Description
  • Execute marketing plans, sales strategies and campaigns to generate sales revenue in accordance to the monthly and annual sales target of the company.
  • Utilize all sales channels from conventional to digital tools to acquire sales opportunities.
  • Assist the HOD in planning, implementing and executing any other business projects and assignments, related to the company.
  • Assist in the development of branding, sales and marketing materials/documentation.
  • Oversee and update the company's LinkedIn account and company website related to Sales & Marketing.
  • Facilitate the setup the SAP (or other Enterprise Management) system for Sales Division.
  • Execute an effective pricing policy for Palm Wood to ensure maximization of profit margins whilst maintaining strong and long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Provide customer service support to all customers including attending to all queries from customers, issue quotations, prepare all necessary shipping documents and invoices.
  • Coordinating with the Production, warehouse, logistics, service providers and local transportation to track on time shipment and arrival to customer warehouses.
  • Take ownership on the Finished Goods inventory. Ensure that we eliminate/minimize any dead stock or slow-moving goods in the warehouse.
  • Participation in internal and external audits. Ensure that the documents requested by Audit teams are available in a timely manner.
  • To assist the Head of Department to prepare and generate periodic Sales Reports, Management Reports and other reports as required by the Management.
  • To perform and carry out all other assignments or duties related to the Sales & Marketing Function assigned by HOD from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
  • Understand the need for Safety in all aspects of work.
  • Understand, Support and compliance to the ISO9001 Standards.
  • Understand, Support of and compliance to the principles of Kaizen, Continuous Improvement and LEAN Management.
