About the Role

Our client is seeking a Sales & Application Engineer to support local business development and customer projects within Malaysia. This role combines technical application support with sales coordination, providing end-to-end support from solution proposal through order processing and customer engagement.

You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and headquarters to deliver suitable technical solutions while supporting sales growth and customer satisfaction in the local market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Support

• Support local sales activities and customer account management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in developing sales strategies and supporting business growth initiatives.

Application & Technical Support

• Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable HVAC / air-conditioning solutions.
• Provide application support, technical clarifications, and product recommendations.
• Assist with technical documentation, drawings, and engineering submissions.
• Support project coordination between engineering, sales, and operations teams.

Sales Operations & Reporting

• Manage the sales order process, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare basic sales and project reports.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and orders.

Coordination & Communication

• Act as a liaison between local teams and headquarters for technical and commercial matters.
• Support internal coordination to ensure smooth project execution and customer delivery.

General Requirements

Must Have

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the air-conditioning / HVAC industry or a technical sales/application environment.
• Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply.
