Overview
The Used Car Sales Advisor is responsible for generating sales of pre-owned vehicles by providing exceptional customer service, identifying customer needs, and offering tailored vehicle solutions. This role also involves appraising trade-ins, maintaining vehicle display areas, and supporting customer follow-up and retention efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in, phone, and online customers to understand their vehicle needs and recommend suitable pre-owned options
- Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives in a professional and engaging manner
- Accurately appraise trade-in vehicles and explain valuation to customers
- Negotiate pricing and financing options while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist in processing all documentation related to the sale, trade-in, and vehicle delivery
- Ensure that all vehicles are clean, properly displayed, and up-to-date with accurate information
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects and existing customers to generate repeat and referral business
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs set by management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation campaigns
- Stay updated with current inventory, promotions, and industry trends
Requirements
- Preferably Malay only
- Proven experience in automotive sales, preferably in pre-owned/used vehicles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional and confident approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to conduct test drives
