Job description

To advise management on measures to be taken in the interest of Occupational Safety and Health at work site;

Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

Perform regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.

मईInvestigate fatal accident, dangerous occurrence or occupational diseases when happen and ensure proper reporting to the relevant authorities are carried out;

Ensure adherence to local and national occupational safety and health laws and DOSH regulations.

Take a lead role in organizing safety and health programme to promote safety awareness;

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• Registered with DOSH or NIOSH as Green Book or at least a yellow book preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and standards (DOSH, OSHA).
• Excellent communication, training, and able to work independently.
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• This position requires daily travel to project sites and is based in Klang Valley area.
