Job description

As a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) at Wellcall Hose (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental, safety and well‑being of all employees at our manufacturing facility located in Pusing Perak. This full‑time position is crucial in upholding our commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments (HIRAC) to identify and mitigate potential health and safety hazards.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring effective safety policies, procedures, and training programmes. Reviewing safety and environmental policy from time to time.
• Investigating and reporting on all workplace incidents, accidents, and near‑misses.
• Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on occupational health and safety matters.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Organising and leading safety committee meetings to promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborating with the HR team to deliver effective wellness initiatives for employees.
