Job description

Assist in day-to-day safety operations to ensure drivers and vehicles OPERATE SAFE & ON TIME to destination with accordance to company’s policies and customers’ requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Safety Management System

• Assist Manager/ Safety Officer in handling activities pertaining to safety & health policies, procedures, documents etc.
• Conduct "Behaviour Observation S" assessment / "Loss Prevention Observation" assessment.
• Respond to all emergencies and incidents.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.

Operation Management

• Ensure all fleets comply with the Safety Requirement to perform daily deliveries.
• Ensure all delivery routes comply with journey management policies.
• Guide branch overall HES compliance to statutory requirements and performance.
• Ensure HES compliance to customer requirements.

Driver Management

• Conduct drivers daily safety toolbox meeting, monthly driver safety meeting & stand down meeting.
• Ramdom check on drivers’ health condition and ensure their fitness to drive (Drug & Alcohol Test).
• Monitor drivers’ violation through GPS System.
• Guide Drivers through counseling/ heart and mind session.

Journey Management

• Plan and conduct tank trucks spot checks.
• Journey management and risk assessment.
• Plan safe journey and enforce use of authorised routes and authorised rest area.

Candidate Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
