Job summary

A leading safety consulting firm is looking for a qualified safety supervisor with at least 6 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. The role requires candidates to possess knowledge of safety regulations, implement safety programs on-site, and provide guidance to the construction crew on best practices. Applicants must also be an Authorized Gas Tester and have skills in incident investigation and reporting. This is an essential position for maintaining safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of working experience in supervision of safety aspects in oil & gas.
• Minimum of 3 years in the relevant position.
• Knowledge of safety requirements from authorities and implementation of safety programs onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform site walkabouts and advise construction crew on safety practices.
• Act as an Authorized Gas Tester.
• Conduct incident investigations and reporting.

Requirements

• The personnel shall have at least six (6) years of working experience in supervision of safety aspects in oil & gas.
• The personnel shall have served for at least three (3) years in this position.
• The personnel must possess knowledge of requirements pertaining to safety stipulated by government or other authorities and must be able to implement safety related programs onsite, perform site walkabouts, and advise the construction crew on best safety practices. The personnel shall also be an Authorized Gas Tester. Knowledge in incident investigation and reporting is mandatory.
