Overview

Proceanic Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd – Masai, Johor

An ROV Pilot is responsible for learning and using Company’s ROV equipment for operations onshore or offshore for required surveys using Company’s robotics and tools, which includes Mini-ROVs, magnetic crawlers and a variety of inspection instruments and probes. Such inspections may be Class-approved and may call for further training by Company to be certified for conducting such scopes.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and use Company’s ROV equipment for onshore or offshore surveys using Company’s robotics and tools, including Mini-ROVs, magnetic crawlers and a variety of inspection instruments and probes.
  • Understand and apply Company’s processes, policies and regulations, including equipment usage, health, safety and environment (HSE) policies, quality standards, and related requirements.
  • Plan and manage inspection process, equipment and commercial requirements for any job.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in problem solving.
  • Maintain strong physical health to handle offshore logistics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Marine) or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English
