About the Role

A Robotics Engineer is responsible for optimizing and automating manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This role requires strong technical expertise in robotics, PLC systems, and industrial automation. The engineer will collaborate closely with production, maintenance, quality, and R&D teams to ensure smooth operation, seamless integration, and continuous improvement of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve Machine Effectiveness (Quantity, Quality, Safety) through robotics and automation optimization.
  • Perform robot teaching, path programming, cycle time improvement, and error recovery.
  • Integrate robots with PLCs, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems.
  • Troubleshoot automation/robotic systems and resolve production issues.
  • Close findings after customer comments and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities for automation performance.
  • Conduct 4M analysis and update history logs.
  • Prepare Job Sheets and Project Assignment Reports.
  • Collect and analyze machine buy-off data (Internal & External).
  • Support installation, commissioning, and testing of robotic or automated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, interlocks, and emergency stop systems.
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve line reliability.
Qualification & Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE)/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Automation Engineering/ Control & Instrumentation Engineering or relevant field.
  • Industrial robot programming, teaching & troubleshooting (ABB/KUKA/Yaskawa/Fanuc).
  • PLC & automation systems including motion control, sensors & industrial communication.
  • Robot integration with conveyor/vision/PLC & hands‑on experience in robotic applications.
  • Strong problem‑solving, safety awareness & ability to work on production floor.
  • Good documentation, reporting & communication skills.
