Job summary

A leading telecommunications provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Retail Manager to lead and motivate a sales team towards achieving store and personal targets. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire operation, deal with retail issues, and ensure outstanding store conditions. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus. Willingness to travel and work weekends is necessary.

Job description

Lead and motivate sales team to achieve store and personal targets.

Encourage team to provide excellent service to maximize product sales.

Oversee full spectrum of outlet operation - manpower management, arrangement of monthly work schedule, organize workflow, ensure staffs understand their job responsibilities and duties.

Responsible to deal with all issues that arise from retail operations - take appropriate remedy actions, report unresolved matters to Operation & Retail Manager/respective departments when necessary.

Manage and control inventory level and stock forecast accuracy across all channels.

Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards - ensure high standard of store environment (safe and clean) to protect the safety of customers and staffs.

Ensure cash receipt tally with daily sales report

Bank in cash receipt on timely basis

Send sales report to Operation & Retail Manager.

Ad-hoc task by Superior.

Qualification Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retail Industry.

Possess high level of commitment and able to demonstrate initiative and integrity.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent mentoring, coaching and team management skills.

Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external parties.

Analytical, meticulous and sharp business acumen.

Willing to travel and work on weekends.
