Job summary

A retail pharmacy in Kuala Lumpur is searching for a Project Coordinator to manage new outlet openings, renovations, and operational activities. The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Business or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in retail operations or project management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Google Workspace and English is required, with Mandarin as an advantage. This role includes preparing reports and liaising with contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support new outlet openings, renovations, and setup activities to ensure smooth and timely completion.

Liaise with landlords, contractors, and vendors on tenancy, renovation, and maintenance matters.

Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for potential new outlets or business opportunities.

Manage project timelines and budgets (CAPEX & Revenue), and ensure all works meet quality and safety standards.

Oversee maintenance and repair works for existing outlets, including lighting, air-conditioning, pest control, and fire safety systems.

Ensure all licenses, permits, and regulatory documents are valid and renewed promptly.

Assist in procurement and tracking of fixtures, fittings, and operational supplies.

Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on project status, maintenance, and operational updates.

Support management in executing ad-hoc projects or assignments to meet business goals.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or equivalent.

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, project coordination, or business development.

Strong understanding of retail setup, renovation, and maintenance processes.

Experience dealing with contractors, mall management, and regulatory authorities is an added advantage.
