Job summary

A retail and event management company in Malaysia is seeking a motivated candidate to lead, train, and supervise the retail field force team. The ideal applicant will develop route plans, ensure comprehensive coverage of outlets, and monitor performance. Responsibilities also include executing in-store events and managing logistics. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and supervise the retail field force team across assigned territories.
  • Develop route plans, assign store visits, and ensure all outlets are covered based on campaign needs.
  • Monitor field team performance, including product visibility, merchandising, and promotional execution.
  • Conduct regular store audits and provide feedback/coaching to team members.
  • Manage stock levels and promotional materials to ensure consistent supply across outlets.
  • Act as the main communication bridge between HQ and field teams.
Event Coordination
  • Plan and execute in-store and field events such as product launches, roadshows, and sampling activities.
  • Handle event logistics including venue arrangements, vendor coordination, and manpower sourcing.
  • Liaise with mall management, store partners, and suppliers for permits, approvals, and setups.
  • Supervise on-ground event staff to ensure high-quality customer engagement and brand representation.
  • Monitor event KPIs and generate detailed post-event reports.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (Training will be provided).
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in retail, events, or team leading will have an advantage.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
