Job summary

A leading retail company in Malaysia is seeking individuals to assist with stocktake audits and compliance checks. Candidates should have a diploma/degree in finance or accounting and possess strong skills in communication, time management, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include conducting surprise audits, drafting reports, and handling investigations into non-compliance. The role requires flexibility for overnight shifts and frequent travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification.
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Basic knowledge in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge in retail audits and stocktake.
  • Fast learner with good time management skills.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines with pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Willing to work overnight shifts for case investigations.
  • Must possess own transport due to travel requirements.
  • Able to travel frequently including outstation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with stores and warehouse stocktake investigations.
  • Conduct surprise audits at stores.
  • Brief audit findings during exit meetings with management.
  • Draft and share audit findings and reports.
  • Conduct in-store cash counts and warehouse checks.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from HQ.
  • Conduct investigations on non-compliance cases.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job description
Responsibilities

Assist with stores and warehouse stocktake and ensure completion of all stocktake investigations are on the same day

Conduct stores surprise audit accordance with the QSC and ZTC checklists at least one store per day

Brief the audit findings during exit meetings with store manager/PIC

Draft, finalize and share the audit findings and reports with management

Conduct in-store surprise cash count and warehouse delivery check as well as handle ad-hoc request from HQ to ensure the store is 100% compliance with the store policy

Conduct case investigation on non-compliance case report to HQ for required action

Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management that deemed relevant

Role Requirements

Possess a Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent qualification

Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia

Basic knowledge in using Microsoft software (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

Knowledge in retail audits and stocktake

Fast learner with good time management skill

Able to work under tight deadlines with pressure

Poses good communication and interpersonal skills

Good team player

Must willing to work in an overnight shift if there are required case investigation to be conducted

Must possess own transport as travel is required

Able to travel frequently including outstation
