Job description

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting the overall operations of our retail store. This is a full‑time position.

What you'll be doing
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service, answering queries and assisting customers with their purchases
  • Maintain the store's appearance and presentation, ensuring it is clean, well‑stocked and visually appealing
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments
  • Restock and replenish merchandise as needed, following established inventory management procedures
  • Assist with the set‑up and dismantling of product displays and promotions
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of store operations
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of store presentation
  • Numeracy skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and card transactions
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
