A leading hospitality group in Selangor seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations. You will lead a team to ensure exceptional service in a fine-dining environment while collaborating closely with the kitchen. Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow, service excellence, and adherence to brand standards in a fine-dining environment. Lead service on the floor, maintaining the highest levels of hospitality, guest engagement, and team coordination. Support the delivery of food and beverage service, ensuring correct service procedures, quality presentation, and consistency. Work closely with the Chef on Duty and management team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service teams. Actively engage with guests to enhance the overall dining experience, including providing informed food and beverage recommendations when required. Support beverage operations, including basic wine service standards, pairing suggestions, and upselling, where appropriate. Assist in managing staff performance through coaching, training, and on-the-job guidance to uphold service standards. Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery. Assist in cost control, budgeting, and operational reporting while maintaining quality and service standards. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, cash handling, and internal audit procedures. Participate in brand initiatives, marketing activities, and promotional events as required. Strong leadership and people management skills within a fine-dining or upscale restaurant environment. Solid understanding of food and beverage service operations, with exposure to wine service standards. Ability to provide basic wine recommendations and pairing suggestions to guests. Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality and service excellence. Good operational and commercial awareness, including basic budgeting and cost control. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests, team members, and management. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-standard service environment. Willingness to continuously learn and develop food and beverage knowledge, including wine. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational needs.
