Job summary

A leading restaurant group in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a manager to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, strong leadership skills, and is hands-on. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring quality service, and compliance with regulations. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential. This role is suitable for someone who can work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within the F&B industry.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in kopitiam/casual dining/chain restaurant operations is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the overall daily operations of the restaurant
  • Lead, train, motivate, and discipline outlet staff to ensure operational excellence
  • Plan manpower, duty rosters, and ensure sufficient staffing at all times
  • Monitor sales performance, manage costs, and achieve outlet targets
  • Ensure food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and SOP compliance
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen team and Head Office
  • Prepare and submit operational reports to the General Manager
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and local authority regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within the F&B industry
  • Proven experience managing a restaurant independently
  • Strong leadership, people management, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in kopitiam / casual dining / chain restaurant operations is an advantage
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an added advantage)
