About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join THE HOOTON RETREAT SDN. BHD. as a full‑time Resort Operation Manager based in Pertang Negeri Sembilan. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all daily operations of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and the smooth running of the business.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and lead the resort's front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and recreation departments to deliver high‑quality service and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancements.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and development to build a motivated and skilled team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to manage contracts and drive cost‑effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar resort management or hospitality operations role.
