Job summary

A leading bank in Malaysia is looking for a motivated individual to promote Deposit and Cash Management solutions as well as Foreign Exchange products to new Business Banking customers. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, with strong sales skills and the ability to build client relationships. This role involves achieving revenue targets and ensuring compliance with operational processes. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

To Promote and market Deposit/Cash Management solutions and Foreign Exchange products as core on new Business Banking (BB) customers.

To contribute to the Forex and deposit business/revenue of BB business segment.

Solicit and market a range of Deposit products including but not limited to Fixed Deposits, Business Current Accounts, Payments and Receivables solutions, Depository products, etc.

Acquire new customers and generate new leads for acquisition purposes.

Conduct presentations, provide consultation as well as proposals to potential clients in meeting their business and operational Banking needs.

Build and maintain long term and profitable relationships by providing quality and professional customer service.

Ensure adherence to business operational processes, regulatory compliance and control requirements at all times.

To achieve the given Forex and deposit budget.

To actively participate in the business plan and strategies e.g. campaign, events and etc.

To be responsible for maximizing on utilization of Forex lines.

Actively market and promote High Yield Deposits / Structured products and defined product offering (Spot, Forward Forex & Options) to BB clients.

Assist and support BB Bank’s Forex business by actively contributing ideas on strategic action plans to acquire new customers.

Job Requirements

Candidates possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/SPM in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or any equivalent education background.

Preferably 2-3 years of proven work experience in deposit, cash management solutions, or Foreign exchange products. However, fresh graduate with education background of Finance, Business Management, or Accounting is encouraged to apply.

Self-motivated and committed, with a desire to achieve goals and targets.

Strong sales drive, with the ability to influence and convince customers.

Outgoing personality, aggressive and result-oriented.

Fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
