A leading chemicals company in Kapar is seeking an IMS & HSE Executive to ensure regulatory compliance across all business activities. You will lead compliance awareness, manage documentation, and handle communication with regulatory authorities. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related fields, along with 3–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance. This role also involves promoting a safety and sustainability culture within the organization.
The primary responsibility is to provide professional regulatory advice and guidelines to company personnel, sales teams and support staff to ensure regulatory compliance within the chemical industry.
Ensure all business activities comply with applicable local laws and regulatory requirements, and remain up to date with regulatory changes.
Lead and coordinate regulatory compliance awareness across all departments, aligning activities with regulatory objectives.
Update, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of Material Master documentation.
Ensure all products are distributed in compliance with regulations related to product safety, environmental protection, and occupational health.
Establish and maintain regulatory requirements for labeling, storage, and packaging.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, prepare submissions, and manage required documentation.
Provide regulatory compliance support to the Sales and Marketing teams.
Lead, oversee, and manage the company’s ISO compliance and certification requirements.
Promote a strong culture of safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility, ensuring adherence to EHS regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and identify best practices.
Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a Science-related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
Candidates with experience in regulatory compliance (e.g. product regulatory work, and effective document control), and the ability to multitask in a results-oriented environment, are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and ISO procedures.
Strong communication and training facilitation ability.
Positive, polite, and cheerful demeanor.
Strong understanding of regulatory procedures and guidelines.
Basic knowledge of SAP systems.
Experience with ISO and EHS management systems will be an added advantage.
