A leading wellness company is seeking a Sales Training Leader based in Butterworth. The role involves developing and delivering impactful training programs to enhance sales performance across multiple regions. Key responsibilities include coaching sales professionals, creating engaging training materials, and analyzing training effectiveness to drive improvement. Candidates should possess strong sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a degree, along with a minimum of two years in corporate training focused on sales.
This position is based in the Northern Region, mainly in Butterworth. This role leads sales training programs to strengthen product knowledge, selling skills, and overall sales performance. It involves developing and managing high-quality training materials aligned with organizational goals, while continuously evaluating effectiveness through data and feedback to enhance impact and close performance gaps.
Based in Butterworth to lead training programs for all audiences in Langkawi, Penang, Perak and Kedah. Travelling is acceptable.
Sales, Rental Collection, Service, Product Training
Lead sales training programs, focusing on product knowledge, selling skills (negotiation, objection handling, closing), and pipeline management.
Design and deliver high-impact training (virtual and in-person) that directly drives improved sales performance and quota attainment.
Partner directly with Sales Leadership to identify performance gaps and rapidly deploy targeted training interventions.
Coach and mentor sales professionals through role-plays and live feedback to ensure effective application of skills in the field.
Design, develop, and update high-quality training materials, including presentations, participant guides, job aids, assessments, e-learning modules, and multimedia content, in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.
Ensure all training content is accurate, current, relevant, and aligns with organizational goals, policies, and industry best practices.
Maintain a central repository of all training documentation and resources, ensuring version control and accessibility.
Review and evaluate existing training programs regularly for effectiveness and recommend necessary revisions or enhancements.
Measure training effectiveness using assessments, participant feedback, and sales performance data (e.g., conversion rates).
Report on key training metrics and recommend immediate revisions to maximize impact.
Identify ongoing training needs by analysing performance trends and consulting with managers.
Able to locate in Butterworth.
Proven sales background, ideally within Coway or a similar consumer appliance/wellness industry.
Strong product knowledge and full understanding of the sales process from prospecting to after-sales.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with engaging facilitation techniques.
Able to design or adapt training materials to suit different audiences and learning needs.
Motivated, disciplined, and a positive role model aligned with ethical sales practices.
Coaching mindset with willingness to travel and engage diverse sales teams.
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
At least 2 years’ experience in corporate training or L&D, preferably in sales training.
Conduct and deliver engaging training sessions (classroom or virtual) on sales, product, and compliance topics.
Coordinate schedules, prepare lesson plans, and ensure effective learning outcomes.
