A technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive new business and manage key accounts in the CDN and cybersecurity sectors. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of sales management experience in IT solutions, a proven track record in exceeding quotas, and familiarity with Salesforce. Responsibilities include developing channel partners, creating customer deliverables, and representing the company at industry events. This role offers medical insurance and a dynamic work environment.
Drive new business directly from customers, identify and develop effective and scalable channel partners based in respective territories for building robust sales pipelines.
Oversee and manage a portfolio of assigned accounts, seek additional revenue opportunities through up‑selling and renewals.
Accountable for owning all aspects of the sales cycle, whilst consistently generating pipeline to meet and/or exceed quota.
Create and maintain all major customer deliverables (proposals, statements of work, etc.) to provide over‑the‑top customer service and support.
Understand the value proposition of our CDN and cloud security solutions and communicate all offerings to C‑level executives and decision makers.
Continuously keep abreast of industry and market trends, while building strong knowledge of our products and services.
Drive business cadence for weekly team meetings on pipeline update, opportunities review, and customer account reviews.
Actificeerd as CDNetworks country representative by presenting at external symposiums, conferences, media, and industry events.
Minimum 3 years of relevant sales management experience, preferably in IT solutions/Cloud or a similar hi‑tech environment.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals/quotas. Strong key account management skills and business acumen.
Familiarity with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, is highly desired.
Knowledge of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), Internet and Cloud Infrastructure, Media, and Cyber Security Services is highly desired.
Experience and resourcefulness in channel partnership with Systems Integrators, Value Added Resellers in the network and security field is a plus.
