To lead and drive sales performance within the assigned region, includes managing dealer networks, achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and ensuring excellent customer experience. Serves as the primary link between the company and its dealers, providing guidance, support, and direction to optimise sales operations and dealership performance.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Sales & Business Performance
- Achieve regional sales targets for vehicles, accessories, and related products.
- Analyse sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to propose strategic actions.
- Develop and implement regional sales plans to drive growth and improve market share.
- Monitor dealer order submissions, stock levels, and sales conversion rates.
- Manage relationships with existing dealers and ensure adherence to company standards and policies.
- Guide dealers on sales strategies, showroom operations, customer engagement, and sales processes.
- Conduct regular dealership visits to review performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Support dealer recruitment, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
C. Customer Experience & Quality Improvement
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer experience across all dealerships.
- Address customer escalations and ensure quick resolution in coordination with dealers and internal teams.
- Promote high standards of product knowledge, selling skills, and customer handling within dealer teams.
- Coordinate and monitor regional promotional campaigns, new model launches, and brand activation activities.
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure effective implementation of national and regional marketing initiatives.
- Support dealers in localised marketing activities to drive traffic and lead generation.
E. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on regional performance, challenges, and action plans.
- Monitor KPI performance for each dealer and ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide market feedback on customer preferences, pricing competitiveness, and product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Logistics, Aftersales, Finance, and Product Planning.
- Provide coaching and guidance to dealer sales managers and frontline staff.
3. Requirements
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in automotive sales, dealer management, or regional sales roles.
- Strong understanding of automotive retail, dealer operations, and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Willing to travel extensively within the region.
