Role Purpose
To support DK Bank’s regional growth initiatives through regulatory licensing, inorganic expansion, and new market entry planning to ensure growth opportunities are well-evaluated, compliant, and operationally executable.
Responsibilities
- Support regulatory licensing applications across jurisdictions by coordinating application workstreams, drafting and compiling submission write-ups, and managing inputs from internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
- Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and advisors (e.g. legal counsel, consultants etc.) involved in licensing, regulatory engagement, and market entry initiatives.
- Conduct strategic and operational assessments of potential acquisition or partnership targets, including business model analysis, regulatory fit, operational readiness, and integration considerations.
- Support M&A processes by preparing evaluation materials, coordinating due diligence workstreams, and assisting with post-transaction integration planning from an operations and regulatory perspective.
- Develop new market entry assessments and strategies, including market sizing, competitive landscape analysis, regulatory environment review, and evaluation of viable entry pathways (e.g. greenfield license, acquisition, partnership).
- Track and monitor expansion initiatives and milestones, ensuring clear documentation, risk identification, and escalation of key issues related to licensing, M&A, and market entry.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in strategy, M&A or corporate development roles within banking, fintech, financial services or consulting industries.
- Experience in M&A support, due diligence, or investment assessment, either in-house or as part of a consulting, advisory, or transaction team.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize regulatory, market, and financial information into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly in drafting regulatory submissions, strategy papers, and investment memoranda.
- Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders concurrently.
- High attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and evolving regulatory environments.
