Purpose / Objective (Of This Position)
The Regional Manager, Special Projects is responsible for identifying, managing, and executing key revenue-generating initiatives across product, marketing, and loyalty domains. This role is essential to accelerating new income streams, managing cross-functional project rollouts, and ensuring project success through meticulous execution, performance tracking, and post‑launch analysis. The role demands agility, innovation, and a deep understanding of product growth and consumer behaviours.
Job Responsibilities
Category or New Business Unit Growth
- Lead the development and execution of growth strategies for the category / business unit.
- Responsible for the growth and health of assigned portfolio at early entry stage.
- Analyse product performance, consumer trends, and competitive benchmarks to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and brand innovation to deliver strong commercial results for the category.
Special Projects – New Revenue Streams
- Design and manage end‑to‑end strategic projects that span general marketing, creative marketing across revenue channels, and product innovation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to explore, validate, and execute initiatives aimed at driving incremental revenue.
- Ensure each project meets clearly defined commercial, creative targets and timeline benchmarks.
Project Management and Delivery
- Lead cross‑functional project teams and align execution plans with all relevant departments.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, dashboards, and documentation to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Conduct post‑mortem analyses to extract learnings, identify areas for improvement, and inform future initiatives.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring
- Track, evaluate, and report on the performance of projects and key initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Chief Commercial Officer on project milestones, risks, and outcomes.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Job Competencies / Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Innovation, or a related field. MBA or project management certification is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum of 6–8 years’ experience in marketing, strategy, product management, or a similar project‑focused role.
- Prior execution or managerial roles in F&B, FMCG, e‑commerce, beauty, and fast fashion are preferred.
- Proven track record in cross‑functional project leadership and innovation delivery.
Skills & Knowledge
- Understanding of general business models, distribution, revenue channels at its core and have an interest in breaking through the norm in these channels.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent understanding of commercial and marketing metrics, including the core unit of each metric spanning across users, revenue, channels, social media platforms, and more.
- Competence in using data analytics tools and reporting dashboards.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with F&B or consumer goods categories preferred.
