Objective
As the Regional Lead, UI/UX, you will be responsible for leading the design vision, defining user flows, creating intuitive interfaces, and ensuring the overall quality of the user experience for our digital platforms. This role involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and implementing a user feedback loop to continuously improve the platform’s user engagement, while overseeing the regional UI/UX team to deliver high-quality, user-centric design solutions that align with strategic objectives in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Position Responsibilities
User Experience and Design
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and final implementation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Define and maintain design principles and standardized component libraries to ensure consistency across all product interfaces.
- Lead the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that deliver intuitive user experiences aligned with product goals.
Product Strategy and Vision
- Facilitate the regional product vision by conducting user research, analyzing customer data, and validating designs through user testing and market insights.
- Identify business and design challenges, proposing strategic solutions and feature enhancements to improve product functionality and user satisfaction.
Mentorship and Leadership
- Mentor and guide the UI/UX team to produce world-class user experiences, enhancing team performance based on annual reviews.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to define and implement design solutions that align with product roadmaps and business objectives.
- Enable the implementation of innovative design concepts and systems derived from research, strategy, and ideation.
Other Job Authorities
- Facilitate workshops to upskill the design team on emerging tools and trends.
- Represent the UI/UX team in cross-functional meetings with engineering.
- Monitor industry trends to inform design strategies.
- Support product managers in translating requirements into design solutions.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- 6+ years of UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven portfolio showcasing user-centric design solutions and design system development.
- Experience managing design teams and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and Agile processes. Skills & Knowledge
- Expertise in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma) and design system management.
- Deep knowledge of user research, usability testing, and accessibility standards.
- Strong project management skills to oversee design deliverables and timelines.
- Ability to translate product requirements into actionable design strategies.
