Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Studies, or related field.
  • Experience in demand planning, supply chain management or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Summary

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels by accurately forecasting demand, coordinating supply planning, and optimizing stock availability across multiple countries. This role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to balance demand fluctuations, minimize stockouts, and prevent overstock situations.

Responsibilities
Demand Planning
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate promotional and seasonal factors into forecasts.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting methods.
  • Provide insights on demand trends and potential risks to inventory levels.
Supply Planning
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Work closely with New Product Development team to ensure smooth product launching.
  • Plan and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage stock allocation across multiple channels and markets.
Inventory Management & Optimization
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to monitor stock movement and reduce holding costs.
  • Identify slow‑moving or aging inventory and propose clearance or reallocation plans.
  • Support warehouse and logistics teams in managing stock flow efficiency.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Generate reports on demand forecasts, stock levels, and supply performance.
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis for forecast deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to improve decision‑making processes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Studies, or related field.
  • Experience in demand planning, supply chain management or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
