About You.

Do you have a passion for business & data crunching, this role will be primarily crucial for the business as it requires good data insights matched with strong business acumen to analyze, design, recommend and contribute to the pricing strategy, supply & sourcing and business framework across the nation.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop and improvise strategy, models and frameworks for category management and become a proactive partner supporting category management in different countries.
  • Assist in developing the right category strategy with the goal of achieving company wide KPIs (including but not limited to inventory assortment, speed of sale, profitability, and market share) across different countries. The main KPIs for category management is speed of sales and Margin
  • Be the advisor of the local category team on data led insights as well as build reporting and analytical capabilities for the regional category management department.
  • Analyse performance trends of inventory and sales and turn data into actionable insights. Championing recommendations for improvement across category pillars which includes inventory, pricing, and revenue management.
  • Assist the regional category team to analyse operational and campaign performance to provide insightful recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other teams including marketing, commercial strategy, operations, and product team etc on various initiatives
  • Improvise the category management way of work – work with local team to understand the pain points and find way to improve (product enhancement, data insights etc)
  • Continuous improvement/integration of data related – achieve single source of truth
  • Improvise demand – based on insights (web traffic, search etc) to work with marketing, go-to-market and product team to find pocket of opportunities to improve the demand (product development, campaign strategy etc)

Your Know - How

  • 1 year of working experience in commercial
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required with specialization in business, economics, mathematics and engineering.
  • Proficiency with Excel, strong statistical and analytical skills. Having the knowledge in SQL & Tableau will be plus point
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-tasked and to prioritize workload and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
