Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Raw Material Preparation saída (milling) department to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Monitor and optimize production parameters based on KPI’s set by company.

Equipment and Process Oversight

Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance of all machinery.

Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.

Implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase throughput.

Team Leadership and Supervision

Supervise and sanat a team of operators, technicians, and shift supervisors.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training on safe and efficient operation.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Ensure all pressing operations comply with quality standards and specifications.

Work closely with the quality control department to address defects, non-conformities, or material issues.

Maintain accurate production and quality records for audits and reporting.

Coordination and Communication

Liaise with pressing, drying, kiln, and packing departments to ensure smooth workflow.

Communicate daily production status, issues, and improvement plans to senior management.

Continuous Improvement and Safety

Lead lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives within the department.

Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and conduct safety training.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Ceramic/Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or material science.
• Good command of English both written and oral.
