Job description

R&D Manager

Responsible for development and improvement of new and existing products, ensuring quality, safety, and consumer expectations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive innovation and cost‑effective production. Lead the development of new products from concept through prototype to launch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialise new products under the YFI brand and OEM/ODM brand.
• Conduct pilot or bench trials; scale‑up to production, ensuring process parameters are validated.
• Oversee sensory evaluation and consumer testing.
• Work closely with Marketing to translate trends and consumer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with regulations: food safety (HACCP, GMP), local labelling/regulatory requirements, Halal certification as needed.
• Monitor supplier/raw material sourcing, evaluate new ingredients or alternate sources.
• Supervise and mentor the R&D team.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, QA/QC, Procurement, Marketing.
