A leading electronic musical instrument company in Port Klang is looking for an R&D Engineer to design and develop electronic circuits and systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate products and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electronic Engineering and experience in circuit design and CAD tools. This role is perfect for those passionate about music and technology.
Design and develop electronic circuits and systems, PWB and PCBA for electrical musical instruments.
Conduct research to innovate and improve existing products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, product designers, and acoustics engineers.
Create detailed technical documentation and specifications such as schematic, BOM, PCB layout, XY data etc.
Prototype and test new designs to ensure functionality and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and production phases.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic components and musical instrument technology.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as EMC & Safety Test regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in electronic circuit design and development.
Proficiency in using CAD tools for electronic design (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design.
Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
Knowledge of audio signal processing and acoustics is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Passion for music and musical instruments.
